Before getting into country music, Frank Ray was actually a police officer for about ten years in Texas. He ended up quitting his job to pursue music but is still a huge advocate for police officers and their mental health. So much, in fact - that he started FRAY to provide resources to first responders who are struggling with their mental health.
We were lucky enough to have Frank perform on the UScellular Connection Stage at Summerfest on the day his debut album came out. Frank wanted to have a little fun, so we invited police officers to come backstage and hear the stories behind the songs, chat with Frank and eat some delicious food from Nashville North! After the fact, we caught up with Frank to hear how the event went!
