Lance Easley is the replacement official who made the worst call in NFL history last Monday night.  In an article on TMZ.com, Easley still insists he made the correct call. In fact he is quoted as saying "Put any other official who knows the rules and they would make the same call."  This runs contrary to, oh let's see, pretty much the rest of the free world.  Herm Edwards said on ESPN "Three guys sitting is a bar could have gotten that call right."  I tend to agree with Herm. 

If Mr. Easley had any brains at all he would have just gone back to his anonymous life as a junior college official.  Instead he ends up pouring gasoline on a fire.  Not only was he out of his element trying to officiate NFL games, he doesn't know when to keep his pie hole closed.
