Vin Scully has announced that he will return to the broadcast booth for the Los Angeles Dodgers again next season.  That will be his 64th as the "Voice of the Dodgers."  Can you imagine having he same job for 64 years?  Vin started calling Dodger games back when the team played in Brooklin, so he has seen players from Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese, to Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale, to Kirk Gibson and Orel Hirshieser right up to Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw.  Granted Vin doesn't do every Dodger game as the Brewers Bob Uecker does.  Scully does all Dodger home games and rarely travels west of Denver, but he is still one of the best of all time.  And there is no truth to the rumor that when he stops calling Didger games, the Dodgers will stop playing.  It will just feel that way.
