... are we carrying things a little far?  When this race first began it was the "Brickyard 400."  For a while it was known as the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, but when that deal ended, I thought the good folks at Indy came back to their senses.  Now I see that in addition to honoring a military hero (Curtiss Shaver) a few other folks have jumped on the bandwagon.  So this weekend we will be watching the (ahem) "Crown Royal Presents the Curtiss Shaver 400 at the Brickyard Powered By BigMachineRecords.com."  Whew!  

I have a question or two: do you think the announcers are going to have to say that every time they talk about the race?  And do you think they'll feel a little silly doing it?  Just askin'...
