The 53-year-old country singer crashed his car and was arrested under suspicion that he was driving while intoxicated. He was charged with a DWI and retaliation after he allegedly threatened to "shoot and kill" the arresting officers, according to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office in Sherman, Texas.
