Hello! My name is Kerry Wolfe. I am the Program Director of FM106.1 and the Director of Programming for all 6 of the Clear Channel Milwaukee radio stations, I've been with FM106.1 for over 24 years now. I grew up in Charlotte, NC. Moved to Raleigh to attend and graduate from North Carolina State University. While in college, I was bitten by the radio bug! I started working at the college station and took on various on-air and management roles. After that, I picked up jobs at several local commercial stations. From there, I moved to the coastal N.C. region and then to Greensboro, NC. From Greensboro, it was west to the Rocky Mountains and Colorado Springs, CO. I love the area and go back to visit frequently. I moved to Milwaukee in 1989 and fell in love with the area. I now live in Pewaukee with my daughter Macey and our dog Lily. Lake country living is the best. We love to go boating!
When Phil was in Milwaukee for Summerfest on June 29th @ the Big Backyard Stage, they were also recording scenes for his latest video, "Love Is Alive'. After some time in production, the video was released yesterday - August 7th. Watch the video below and see if you or any of your friends made it into the video. Blake Shelton has lined up Miranda Lambert, Reba and Vince Gill to perform at his
telethon, Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert, coming up Wednesday, May 29 at Oklahoma City's Chesapeake Energy Center. More big names will be announced soon. The concert will be broadcast live on NBC that night at 9 p.m. ET. E!, Bravo and CMT will also air the special either live or on a delayed basis.
Blake grew up in Ada, OK, not far from where the devastating tornado struck Monday, May 20, and he currently lives in Tishomingo, OK. "Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy," Blake
says. "This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero."
Proceeds from the telethon will go to the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund. Tickets to the event go on sale Saturday morning through Ticketmaster.
