I can't believe I missed this, but yesterday marked the two-year anniversary of arguably the greatest touchdown dance ever to be performed in NFL history. Yes, I am talking about The RAJI!
On January 23rd, 2011 the 337 lbs nose tackle intercepted the ball and ran it in for a touchdown against the Chicago Bears in the 2011 playoffs. The call came from the defensive coordinator Dom Capers, who decided to make the rare decision to have a nose tackle spy on the quarterback, and the result was pure entertainment of the big guy dancing around in the end zone. Ever since then, Raji became my #1 man to "strut his stuff" if you will.
So move over Rogers, the Raji is in town!
