Meaghan was a 2007 WAMI Award winner in the Americana/Bluegrass Category and has been raising eyebrows in Nashville.

Howdy-

This week we wre passed along a song from our sister station in Minneapolis that will certainly touch anyone who is a parent and moreover anyone who may have lost a child. Ths song is called One More Day by Rocket Club. Rocket Club is based in Minneapolis but has solid Wisconsin connections as two of their members Don Smithmeier and Brian Kroening are former Madison residents. 100% of the proceeds from downloads of One More Day got to benefit Faith's Lodge, a support mechanism for families dealing with all the heavy stuff that comes with having a seriously ill child or a recently deceased child. Go to their website www.rocketclub.info for the link to download this song.

This week's show features new music from Lisa Medill along with more material from some Home Made Jams favorites.

Rocket Club- One More Day
The Subcontinentals- You, Yeah You
357 String Band- Darleen
Lisa Medill- Impulsive
Pat Garrett- I-Block Intake Blues

It has a little something for everyone. Some Roots Rock-Americana, some smokin bluegrass, something that has a jazzy swingin 60's lounge feel to it, some traditional and some of my favorite type of "Country" Rockabilly or Psychobilly. Check it out this week. We've got new artists comin out of our- well, you know...

Hey, we're commercial free now!

357 String Band- Down on a Bender
The Subcontinentals- Baby Maybe Then
