Many of you shared my sadness when I lost my Mom to breast cancer in 2009. Your e-mails and calls of support helped me through the most difficult time of my life. I founded Check Ups for Chicks soon after my Mom's passing so that I could help other women become pro-active about their health and assure that everyone is able to get a mammogram screening if they need it. So many of us put everything else before ourselves and many of us, like my Mom, are either uneducated or scared. Thank you for being there for me and I hope this webpage is there for you if you need it.
