The nominees for the 2012 CMT Music Awards were announced Monday morning on NBC’s Today show. Little Big Town helped with the reveal and also announced that they would be performing on this year’s live show. Carrie Underwood leads the pack with five nominations, including Video of the Year for “Good Girl.” Miranda Lambert follows closely behind with four nods; two for her solo work and two as a member of the country-trio Pistol Annies. Voting begins today on CMT.com and on your mobile device at m.cmt.com. The 2012 CMT Music Awards mark the 11th anniversary of the awards show and will air live from the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 6th on CMT and CMT.com.
