On Saturday March 22, 2014, FM106.1 was proud to present Milwaukee with Billy Currington, Brett Eldredge, and Chase Rice with the We Are Tonight tour. Thanks to FM106.1 I was able to attend this event. I missed the meet and greet with Brett but was lucky enough to meet Chase and Billy. Chase Rice was a real cool down to earth kind of guy. He took pictures and also took time to chat with his fans. He gave everyone a signed 8 by 10 with Thank You on it which was a nice touch to show his gratitude to his fans.  The meet and greet with Billy was very quick, really only a picture but it was still really cool. I was hoping he would sign my hat but his assistant Dustin informed us of no autographs and would not budge on their decision even though all the other fans for the meet and greet wanted to see this happen as much as I did but you can’t win them all!

I got to see Chase Rice’s opening song before I went down to meet Billy. The crowd was pumped when he came out ready to kick off the night. He brought a lot of energy with him to the stage tonight. He opened with “How She Rolls” and man he killed it. I was really excited to see more of his performance but was unable to with the meet and greet set up. He was down by his merchandise table taking pictures and signing stuff after his set which was cool. The line went on forever. Hope he comes back to Milwaukee soon!

Brett came on opening up with “I got a Feeling.” You could hear the passion in his voice when he sang songs such as “Don’t Ya,” “One Mississippi,” “Beat of the music” and “Tell me where to park” along with more. The crowd was more than pleased to have him and judging by their reaction was pleased with his performance.

Then the man of the night Mr. Billy Currington hit the stage. He played pretty much all the songs off his  album “we are tonight,” and he did a darn good job singing, but  in my opinion he just didn’t have the energy like Chase and Brett with his performance but still gave the crowd what they wanted, his awesome music. My personal favorites   were “People are Crazy” and “Like my Dog.” At the end they all came out for an encore and sang Garth Brooks “Friends in low places.” It was a great song to end the evening! Thanks FM106.1 for having these talented gentlemen out to entertain us and we hope to see them back soon!
