Velveeta cheese is being recalled from Walmart stores in as many as 12 states, including Wisconsin, because the cheese does not have the correct amount of preservatives in it.
Low amounts of sorbic acid could cause the cheese to spoil prematurely or cause food-borne illnesses.
The company says the code consumers can look for on the package is: 021000611614.
If you purchased these products, do not eat it. Instead, return them to the store where you purchased it for an exchange or full refund.
