SURVEY: More Than Half of Workers Would Keep Working After Winning the Lottery

According to a surprising new survey, 51% of workers claim they would keep working if they won the lottery.

The top three reasons people offered for continuing to work even with millions in the bank were:

1. "I would be bored if I didn't work"

2. "Work gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment"

3. "I want financial security aside from the financial winnings."

And then, there’s the other half who would walk away from their jobs.

Of those workers who would quit, two percent were so bitter that they wouldn’t even tell their bosses to take the job and shove it – and instead would just never show up to work again.
