Overview: CHARISSA MROWKA, age 13, is being hailed "the next Taylor Swift". Charissa has already opened for or shared the stage with major country stars, including: Billy Currington, Jo Dee Messina,
Lonestar, Gretchen Wilson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Trick Pony, Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington, Oak Ridge Boys, LeAnn Rimes, Pat Green, Chuck Wicks and Rodney Atkins. She is working directly with the President of the House of Blues, Michael Yerke, from Live Nation and shot her first music video to an original song, "Come On Now". She has been captivating audiences all around the Midwest region with her country shows since the age of 7 and performing with her own band, the Auburn Sky Band, for the last 3 years. Although Charissa's main love is country music, she has also enjoyed performing her "Hannah Montana Tribute Show" around the northern IL/ southern WI areas over the past year and a half. She is excited to bring her Hannah show to the Wisconsin State Fair in August 2009.

Charissa & her country band, Auburn Sky recently opened for Rodney Atkins at the new 65,000 square foot Lake County Fair Expo Center in Grayslake, IL on Oct. 17, 2009!
After shooting two episodes of t.v. show, Nashville Spotlight, Charissa was asked to be a regular on the show!
Charissa is scheduled to be featured and appear on a Nashville Television show "NASHVILLE SPOTLIGHT!" She will begin shooting for the show in October 2009! She is very excited that she will be making a professional recording of two original songs in Nashville during her stay for the t.v. shoot, which will be used to promote her music!!!
Charissa opened for DOT DOT DOT in Worth, IL which resulted in live t.v. footage and interview of her from FOX T.V. Sept. 13, 2009!!!!

CHARISSA is extremely excited to announce that she will be the opening act for Disney's MITCHEL MUSSO at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL on Saturday, August 15, 2009!!! Talented Charissa Mrowka, age 13, singer/songwriter/recording artist, has a dream of becoming a famous Country/Pop Star someday. She is currently working with of Michael Yerke, talent buyer of LIVE NATION and President of "House of Blues," but looking for management to take her to the next level! Charissa is being hailed "the next Taylor Swift" as aired on her debut on US99.5 FM radio and by other notable people in the music industry.
She completed her first professional music video to an original song titled, Come On Now, produced by Grammy Award winning producer, Hank Neuberger and Craig Snider of Emoto Music in November 2008 which can be viewed on www.youtube.com/charissaonline.
In pursuit of fulfilling her dream, she studies guitar and percussion, and is heavily active in school band, Jazz Band, choir, drama, song writing and airs daily on multiple radio stations and still manages to stay on the High Honor Roll at school.
Charissa has been performing all around Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and Nashville since age 7 and with her own band, Charissa & Auburn Sky Band, since age 10 and has accomplished so much over the years. Some of her most memorable experiences are having been selected to be the opening act for Country Superstars, Billy Currington 2004, performed 5 shows side stage with, Trick Pony and Confederate Railroad 2005, opened for Lonestar 2006, opened for Jo Dee Messina 2007 and shared the stage with the Oak Ridge Boys and Danielle Peck 2007, Gretchen Wilson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington and Joe Diffie 2008 and with Leann Rimes, Pat Green, Chuck Wicks, Carolina Rain, opened for Rodney Atkins, Mitchel Musso, Honor Society, KSM Band and Dot Dot Dot in 2009.
Charissa has performed at the world famous "Tootsie's Orchid Lounge," "The Nashville Palace," "Legends Corner," "Nashville Spotlight T.V. Show," in Music City, Nashville, and even got to feel how awesome it is to sing on the Grand Ole Opry Stage during a tour in 2009! She also performed at "Lonnie's Western Room" and at "Wanna B's" in Music City, Nashville, 2007 and is proud that she was given the honor of having her photo hung on the "Wall of Fame" at "Wanna B's" with all the country stars. In 2005 she entered and won the first place title against all adults in a singing contest at Country Thunder USA in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin and where she had the thrill of performing on the Main Stage. In 2006 she was selected to shoot a singing advertisement for the Jack Daniel's Stage at Country Thunder USA.
In 2007 Charissa entered the largest, nationwide country music talent search contest the "COLGATE COUNTRY SHOWDOWN" and was announced the WISCONSIN STATE CHAMPION at the Wisconsin State Fair setting several new records as the youngest contestant to win State Champion; and first time ever, Wisconsin State, Unanimous Judges vote!
Charissa was elated that she was selected by Lisa Dent and Ramblin Ray of US99.5 FM Radio to have her debut and AIR LIVE as the featured celebrity artist on their special morning show, “THE DINER TOUR” on June 26, 2008! Other famous artists that appeared on the show were Billy Currington, Jullianne Hough, Bucky Covington, & James Otto, Richard Pettie and Taylor Swift. Charissa is proud that her original song, "Come On Now" was aired on FM 106.1 country radio on May 31, 09 and has also aired on numerous radio stations over the years.
Besides performing with her country band, Charissa has enjoyed performing her "Hannah Montana Tribute Show" , which has earned her major recognition over the past 2 years. She has signed a two year contract with "Keylime Cove Water Resort" where she is brought in once a month as a featured act.
Charissa's passion is to perform and she plans on making her music a lifelong career!
Charissa is scheduled to record in Nashville, with producer Shawn Byrne of Rodney Atkin's Band and Skip Saylor in CA in 2009/2010!
